The scale of the disaster is great because of the fragile temporary infrastructure and multi-storey buildings that were destroyed by the earthquake, and its residents were killed or injured under the rubble, and those who survived wandered in the streets under the rain and snow.
The needs of those affected are great (food, water, shelter, heating, blankets, etc.)
Therefore, Ghiras Al-Khair Humanitarian Association launched the "We will stand by you" campaign to urgently provide relief to those affected by the earthquake, as our team in northern Syria began responding to those affected at the moment of the earthquake, putting all capabilities in order to provide relief to thousands of distressed and affected people in northern Syria. ******************************************* Rescue those trapped under the rubble إنتشال العالقين تحت الأنقاض أكثر من 4500 حالة وفاة وما يزيد عن 7500 مصاب في شمال سوريا والعدد مرشح للارتفاع بسبب فقدان العشرات من العائلات تحت الأنقاض جراء الزلزال الذي ضرب الشمال السوري وجنوب تركيا، حيث عمّ الدمار تلك المدن والبلدات القريبة منه مشكلاً مأساة أضيفت على جراح أهلنا النازف في سوريا منذ 10 سنوات.

إن حجم الكارثة كبير بسبب البنية التحتية والأبنية الطابقية المؤقتة الهشة التي دمرها الزلزال، وجعل قاطنيها بين شهيد أو جريح تحت الأنقاض، والذي نجا منهم يهيم على وجهه في الشوارع وتحت الأمطار والثلوج.
احتياجات المتضررين كبيرة من (غذاء وماء ومؤوى وتدفئة وبطانيات ... إلخ) وهم بحاجة لأن نقف معهم ونخفف عنهم على قدر الإمكانيات المتاحة لكل شخص أو مؤسسة خيرية داخل سوريا وخارجها.
لذلك أطلقت جميعة غراس الخير الإنسانية حملة "نحن بجانبكم" لإغاثة المتضررين من الزلزال بشكل عاجل، حيث بدأ فريقنا في الشمال السوري بالاستجابة للمتضررين لحظة وقوع الزلزال واضعاً جميع الإمكانيات في سبيل إغاثة آلاف الملهوفين والمتضررين في الشمال السوري.
