Story
The Qoja family, displaced from the village of Khan Al-Asal in western Aleppo countryside, lives in a camp in the village of Kafr Karmin. The family consists of three sisters who suffer from severe humanitarian conditions and financial hardships.
Suriya, the eldest sister, was a university student in the Faculty of Law. Due to an airstrike, she developed a psychological disorder and a neurological disease that prevents her from moving, speaking, focusing, and understanding her surroundings.
Aisha, the second sister, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and worked as a school teacher. Due to the airstrike, she also developed a neurological disease and was dismissed from her job because of her inability to speak properly.
The third sister, the eldest in age, struggles greatly to secure the household needs and support her sisters due to her inability to work.
The family suffers from a severe shortage of medicines, clothes, diapers, and shelter that protects them from the heat of summer and the cold of winter, in addition to their need for basic household items.
Through this campaign, we aim to raise donations to secure care, shelter, and essential needs for the Qoja family. Together, we can give them a dignified life and new hope.
